Commitment to Success of MBKM
: UNPRI Passes 58 Teaching Practitioner Courses Wave 2
Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) fully supports the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture. One proof of UNPRI's commitment to making the MBKM program a success is its active participation in the Practitioner Teaching Program Wave II in 2023. In the Practitioner Teaching Program Wave II, UNPRI was allocated 58 courses, a rapid increase from the previous number of courses, namely 30 courses in Practitioner Teaching I. This number of courses is the largest in the LLDikti 1 environment.
Practitioner Teaching encourages active collaboration between expert practitioners and lecturers at universities, especially at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) in order to create a deep and meaningful exchange of knowledge and expertise between academics at universities and professionals in the world of work. Collaboration between teaching practitioners and lecturers is carried out in courses delivered in the classroom.
Practitioner Teaching aims to close the gap between the competencies of new graduates and the needs of the world of work. Encourage collaboration between universities and industry in organizing practical and applied learning and increasing the relevance of the skills of Indonesian university graduates to the needs of the world of work and industry. Through this program, UNPRI graduates have the competence and qualifications to enter the workforce. This program is also expected to encourage active collaboration between expert practitioners and lecturers in order to create a deep and meaningful exchange of knowledge and expertise between academics and professionals in the Business World and Industry (DUDI).
UNPRI Chancellor Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes emphasized that UNPRI is fully committed to implementing the Independent Learning-Independent Campus program.
"With the expansion of this freedom, it is hoped that the academic competence achieved on campus will be increasingly relevant to problems and challenges in the real world. Thus, when they have completed their studies, UNPRI students will have high adaptability in various fields of work that are their choice," said Prof. Dr. Chrismis.
