Medan (SIOGE) - The national seminar on technology and computer science innovation (SNITIK 2021) is a routine activity held by the Faculty of Technology and Computer Science - Universitas Prima Indonesia (FTIK UNPRI) online. The activity that was carried out online took place safely and smoothly, Wednesday (11/17/2021).

Initially, this seminar was called the FTIK National Seminar and was held for 4 years, after which the name was changed to SNITIK with a wider scope. In its seventh year in 2021, the Seminar was held with the theme "Technopreneurship during the COVID-19 pandemic: Prospects and the Future".

Based on the report of the organizing committee, the 2021 National Seminar on Technology and Computer Science Innovation (SNITIK) invited 3 competent speakers in their fields, namely Prof. Dr. Ir. R. Eko Indrajit, M.Sc., MBA, M.phil., MA. (Information Technology Expert), Alween Ong (Digital Marketing Tips and Tricks), Ananto Pratikno (Successful Technopreneur) has provided tips, tricks and prospects for becoming a technopreneur during the pandemic. "The Webinar activity is expected to raise students' interest in reading opportunities to become a successful techopreneur," said Juliansyah to the media crew.

Juliansyah added that the webinar activity was attended by the Chancellor of Universitas Prima Indonesia represented by Dr. dr. Ali Napiah Nasution, M.K.T., M.K.M. as Vice Rector IV, Dean of the Faculty of Technology & Computer Science UNPRI, Mardi Turnip, M.Kom., Deans at UNPRI, Vice Dean I of FTIK, Head of Study Program/Secretary at FTIK, Lecturers of FTIK, Students of FTIK and speakers from various regions.

Juliansyah stated the contents of his remarks at the webinar that had been held, namely by participating in SNITIK 2021, it is hoped that students and seminar participants will be able to become creative and innovative business actors according to their fields of study. "Furthermore, participants are expected to know the role of technopreneurs in the development of the marketplace, especially in the development of MSME products, and can develop an entrepreneurial spirit in the world of higher education, especially at Universitas Prima Indonesia," said Juliansyah Putra Tanjung, S.T., M.Kom as the chairman of the SNITIK 2021 committee.

Juliansyah explained the contents of Dr. dr.'s remarks to the media crew. Ali Napiah Nasution, M.K.T., M.K.M. as Vice Chancellor IV of Universitas Prima Indonesia that the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in a major economic crisis, resulting in increased unemployment throughout the world, especially in Indonesia.
